OALA Membership
What is OALA?
The Oregon Association of Latino Administrators (OALA) was founded in 2002 to create a meaningful space for Latino administrators—and Latino educators aspiring to leadership—to receive support, mentorship, and connection across the state. We recognize the increasing diversity of our schools and the growing need for district leadership that reflects and represents the communities we serve.
As our educational landscape continues to evolve, the work of cultivating equitable leadership pipelines, strengthening cultural competency, and closing opportunity gaps remains critical. OALA is committed to this mission, and as a membership-driven organization, we rely on strong partnerships and collective advocacy to ensure the educational success of all Oregon students.
We invite you to join us in this work. To become an OALA member, registration is included through attendance at our annual conference. More information is available on the conference webpage, or you may reach out to Perla.Rodriguez@oalaboard.org with any membership questions.
